残念ながら逃したユーロ2020のラウンド16で予選を通過した重要な瞬間16チーム、クリスティアーノ・ラナルドの最も輝くアクションです

JAKARTA - The preliminary round in the Euro 2020 group phase has passed. There were 16 teams that entered the next round. In this group phase, the action of Cristiano Ronaldo, a top star from Portugal, still steals the attention. What do you think? We cite some important moments that are a pity to miss from these 16 teams.

Next Saturday at 23.00 WIB Wales and Denmark will start the adventure of 16 countries in the round of 16 of Euro 2020 after completing their last group stage matches two days ago.

It was exciting and at the same time thrilling how these 16 teams entered the knockout phase. Only Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, long before the final group stage match was held, have already confirmed themselves to qualify for the last 16. These three teams also collected a perfect score of nine points after sweeping their three group stage matches as reported by Antara.

However, there is one match played by each of the 16 teams that will determine their journey to the last 16.

These are the 16 matches that will determine the 16 teams that qualify for the last 16, even though all of the total 18 group stage matches were interesting and worth enjoying.

ITALY. The Azzurri's decisive match was when they beat Switzerland 3-0 in their first game in Group A. Roberto Mancini's side had three points already before kickoff against Switzerland.

Mancini filled his squad with two experienced back line gladiators Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci, combined with talented and brave young players.

Their opener against Switzerland was the most special as it was Domenico Berardi's combination of skill, pace and cunning down the right flank that set up Manuel Locatelli's goal. Together with left-back Leonardo Spinazzola, Berardi is always testing the limits of the Azzurri's resistance.

WALES. The second match against Turkey which ended 2-0 was the match that helped determine the fate of Wales. This game also serves as a warning bell for Denmark and future opponents, if Wales can get through to the last 16, that Gareth Bale hasn't faded, he's still brilliant.

Aaron Ramsey and Connor Roberts goals were created by Bale's accuracy in passing, his persistence in threatening opponents and of course his strong vision of the match.

SWITZERLAND. The 3-1 victory over Turkey is arguably Switzerland's most important match. It was in this match that they finally showed their potential in this tournament, although unlike Italy and Wales who were winners and group runners-up, Switzerland had to wait a few hours before being declared through to the last 16 as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Switzerland have finally released the shackles of the group stage after failing to go further than the group stage at Euro 2016, as well as the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.

BELGIUM. All of the three group stage matches were enjoyable to watch, but the most sensational was the second match when they beat Denmark 2-1.

Their composure when pressing and also when blocking the opponent's attack, even when they were 0-1 down, paid off big in the second half.

But without playmaker Kevin de Bruyne maybe their fate would be different. The Manchester City man came on as a substitute in the second half, and immediately made an impact by creating one assist and one goal. Portugal must pay great attention to the de Bruyen factor in the last 16 match.

Danish fairy tale

DENMARK. Of course, the 4-1 win over Russia in the last match was the best match for Danish dynamite.

The goal feast started by the young player in place of Christian Eriksen who was plagued by the tragedy of falling due to a heart attack in the first match, Mikkel Damsgaard, is by far the most interesting story in Euro 2020. A sad story that turns into a happy ending. Truly a fairy tale.

NETHERLANDS. The second game against Austria which ended 2-0 saw the Netherlands qualify for the last 16 and heightened their belief that they were on their way to a central European title.

The inclusion of defender Matthijs de Ligt again cemented the Dutch defence, and the brilliant display of right-back Denzel Dumfries who set up one goal and set up another, sent a message to all opponents that the Netherlands were ready to pounce on anyone.

AUSTRIA. The third match against Ukraine 1-0 was the most important part of Austria's journey.

And in these three matches, the focus is still on David Alaba who is the main determinant for Austria's fate. The position in which he plays and maneuvers, will determine what kind of result Austria gets. A 3-1 win over North Macedonia, a 0-2 loss to the Netherlands, then a 1-0 win over Ukraine all correlate to where and where David Alaba is moving.

UKRAINE. Of course this second match against North Macedonia which ended 2-1 is the most important as it was the only one that brought Ukraine points.

Andriy Yarmolenko had a goal and an assist which ended Ukraine's six-game losing streak in European Cup finals. And this victory made Ukraine for the first time breathe the atmosphere of the Euro knockout phase, although the fate was only known after the final match of the Euro 2020 group phase ended.

ENGLISH. It was possible to beat Croatia in the first game and avoid defeat against Scotland, but it was the third match against the Czechs that ended 1-0 that saw attractive England hopes kick in, especially after creative midfielder Jack Grealish started.

Grealish's guile and his audacity to take risks make England look more lively, and this could be momentum for the Three Lions.

CROATIA. The third match against Scotland which ended 3-1 not only sent Croatia into the last 16, but sent a message to all opponents that Luka Modric was not finished.

His experience and skill in setting the rhythm of the game, as well as his goal productivity, is a reminder that Croatia is ready to surprise again like when they were runners-up at the 2018 World Cup.

CZECH REPUBLIC. The team progressed to the top sixteen for being the best third place due to losing on goal difference to Croatia. The second match against Croatia which ended in a 1-1 draw was what made this team feel safe and then it was confirmed to be in the last 16 before undergoing this second match because it was known that they had more points than the two third-placed teams who had just finished their last match.

And once again Patrik Schick shone with a penalty that equalized 1-1. He has scored three goals during Euro 2020. He will still be the most important factor for the Czechs against the Netherlands.

SWEDEN. The third match against Poland which ended 3-2 was the most defining image for Sweden whose attacking unit turned out to be as scary as their defence.

Despite having confirmed themselves to the last 16 before the match against Poland kickoff, Sweden appeared more attacking than before. And Viktor Claesson scored Robert Lewandowski's two goals for nothing but himself.

SPANISH. Slovakia's third game which ended 5-0 was La Roja's way of completely silencing those who criticized the dullness of Spain's attack.

If coach Luis Enrique refers to this victory as a bottle of champagne being opened for a big party where Spain will win this tournament, then this boasting is not an exaggeration. In fact Spain were perfect in the match that ensured them to this last 16.

FRENCH. Although the third match against Portugal was also very interesting to watch, the second match against Hungary which also ended in a draw which actually laid the foundation for Les Bleus' qualification to the last 16.

In this match France was not only efficient and planned as usual, but also much more aggressive in attack. The duo of Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema did not score, but it is difficult to argue that the Goddess of Fortuna factor is not in favor of France which made Didier Deschamps' team unable to win this match.

GERMAN. It is certain that the third match against Hungary which ended 2-2 was the most decisive match for Panzer's fate.

The match in which Germany fell behind twice and equalized twice through Kai Haverts and then Leon Goretzka showed that experience, composure and relentlessness were the distinguishing factors between Germany and Hungary. And the tournament specialist has avoided twice in a row being knocked out of a major tournament early since the 2018 World Cup. Germany's fighting power can make it difficult for England to beat this team in the last 16.

PORTUGAL. The 2-2 draw against France was a match that ensured Cristiano Ronaldo cs stepped into the last 16 as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Many images stand out in this match, including Karim Benzema who scored two goals. But there's no one like Ronaldo's unrelenting streak where his two goals from the penalty spot equaled Iran's Ali Daei's record of 109 goals, which is the all-time record for most goals set by a national team player. Even though he has aged, Ronaldo is still bewitching the green field. Belgium will determine whether Ronaldo's magic continues or not.
