Exchanged Baby Exhumation Witnessed Directly By Reporting Parents At TPU Semper Jakut

Central Jakarta Metro Police conducted an exhumation on the bodies of the interchanged babies at the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital (RSI), Central Jakarta. The announcement was made at TPU Semper, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Tuesday, December 17.

The joint team consisting of the Forensic Medical Installation of Bhayangkara Hospital and the National Police Pusdokes dismantled the baby's grave witnessed by related parties, and the complainant was the father of the baby who felt exchanged.

Officers from the Forensic team and Pusdokes closed the tomb with a tent. They slowly work to retrieve DNA from the body. During the exhumation process, whistleblowers are not allowed to enter the tent.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said previously, exhumation was carried out as part of the process of proving whether the baby was a child

"Investigations to provide clarity on the status of the baby's parents through DNA tests," he said.
