Government Gives Incentives For Hybrid Cars, Honda: We Learn More
JAKARTA - In addition to pure electric vehicles or BEVs, next year's hybrid cars will receive incentives of three percent, as an effort to maintain purchasing power after the 12 percent Value Added Tax (VAT) is implemented.
Responding to this, Honda Prospect Motor through Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director Yusak Billy, really appreciates the stimulus policies given by the government in general in various sectors.
"Especially for the automotive industry, especially the hybrid incentive policy, we will study it further," he said, when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, December 17.
Furthermore, Yusak Billy said, what must be learned first is the implementation of derivatives of the incentive rules for the hybrid car.
"The implementation of the derivative rule first and its impact on the market," he added.

Previously, related to hybrid incentives, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that one of the incentives for the package was targeting hybrid-tech environmentally friendly vehicles (HEV).
"Well, the government provides a 3 percent discount for VAT for hybrid," said Airlangga Hartarto.
Honda itself is one of the producers who also has a hybrid car line-up in Indonesia. For the premium segment, Honda has a hybrid CR-V model and a hybrid Accord. With the enactment of this incentive, it is certainly very interesting.
