Batfest 2024 Held 5 Days, Targets Development Of MSMEs For Batulicin And South Kalimantan

JAKARTA - The Batulicin Festival or commonly abbreviated as Batfest 2024, will be held again in Batulicin, South Kalimantan. This year, Batfest will be held for five days, starting from 27-31 December 2024, carrying the theme 'Harmoni Builds the Country'.

"For this year, we have the theme 'Harmoni Builds a Country' which means musical diversity as well as entertainment that is reflected in the lineup for event legislators at this festival," said Jhonlin Group CEO Ghimoyo, in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Monday, December 16, 2024.

In addition to entertaining with music performances, the Batfest 2024 event also targets to have a significant impact on the economy of the people of Batulicin, South Kalimantan, and its surroundings. 200 MSMEs and 718 street vendors will participate in this festival, which is a momentum for them to further introduce local products and obtain high transaction value.

Business actors will be facilitated to sell in festival areas. They will also be trained to conduct digital transactions, which will make it easier to record.

There will be hundreds of MSMEs facilitated to promote their products to visitors who are present for free. There are also 718 street vendors facilitated to sell in festival areas, and there will also be Batfair Expo, Batfair Jobfair which presents hundreds of job vacancies, talk shows, and others," said Executive Producer of Batfest 2024, Liana Saputri.

"Our goal is to build an economy, and record the number of transactions from MSMEs. Hopefully this event can improve the economy of Batulicin itself and South Kalimantan," added the Festival Directors, Dhany Iskandar.

Dhany Iskandar also mentioned that many MSMEs and street vendors registered to participate in enlivening Batfest 2024. However, business actors from Batulicin and its surroundings still dominate this year.

"If you look at the MSME and street vendors, yesterday it was those who registered from Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, and Central Kalimantan to register. But because the place was not sufficient, the one that sold really sold this year was still from Batulicin, South Kalimantan," he continued.

Meanwhile, Batfest 2024 will be enlivened with a total performance of 18 musicians. Among them are Rhoma Irama & Sonnet, Juicy Lucy, Sal Priadi, NDX AKA, Wali Band, Mansyur S, Setia Band, Dewa 19 ft Virzha, and others.
