Honda Opens Civic Facelift Orders In Malaysia, Launched In Early 2025
JAKARTA - Honda released the Civic facelift last May in the United States (US) by displaying a number of refreshers, one of which is introducing it to a hybrid powertrain known to be fuel efficient.
Now, the model is planned to be present in several markets as a manufacturer's commitment to introducing electrified vehicles globally, one of which is Malaysia.
Launching from Paultan, Sunday, December 15, the Honda Malaysia distributor or HMSB announced that it will open an order for the Civic facelift which is scheduled to launch in neighboring countries in January 2025.
Although it was not stated what variant entered the Malaysian market, it is estimated that the sedan is offered in three types of gasoline, namely 1.5 L E, 1.5L V, and 1.5L RS, as well as one type of hybrid, namely e: HEV 2.0L RS.
This latest Civic revision to the exterior consists of a rear and front bumper that is redesigned by displaying a hexagonal honeycomb patterned grip and the presence of a slimmer side intake water.
For the trim e: HEV of the hospital which has a sporty look, Honda will give him a gray rim design with a size of up to 18 inches.
In addition, the interior will have a 9-inch touch screen unit head which is expected to come in all variants. The system can connect with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity wirelessly.

Then, the audio system has been upgraded to the RS e:HEV, with eight speaker systems previously seen to be replaced by 12 speaker Premium Bose Audio settings.
It is estimated that the specifications will be the same as the latest Civic introduced in the Thai market some time ago. For gas trim, the latest Civic has a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo 4-cylinder engine that offers 182 ps of power and 240 Nm of torque combined with CVT transmission.
As for the hospital's e:HEV type, this car is paired with a naturally-assisted Atkinson-cycle 2.0 liter engine with an electric driving generator that provides a combined power of 181 dk and a 315 Nm torque combined with a front wheel drive and a special electric CVT transmission of a hybrid car line.
The manufacturer with the 'H logo is not yet leaking the price range for the latest Civic in Malaysia. However, in Thailand, this one car is pegged at 1,030 million baht to 1,230 million baht (Rp483.8 million to Rp577.8 million).
