Relocation Land For 204 Families In Takokak, Victims Of Movable Land Have Been Prepared By The Cianjur Regency Government
JAKARTA - 204 heads of families of Waringinsari Village residents, Takokak District affected by natural disasters, land movement will be relocated by the Cianjur Regency Government, West Java. The 2 hectare relocation area, which is located not far from the village of origin, has been prepared.
Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman in Cianjur, Saturday, said that regarding the relocation land since the disaster emergency response (TDB) was implemented in a number of sub-districts in Cianjur, his party had asked the village and sub-districts to prepare land for relocation as a quick response effort.
"The government will help when there are difficulties related to land for relocation, such as in Waringsari Village, Takokak District, where the government has accepted the proposed land that can be purchased to be used as a new village," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 14.
Currently, his party has asked the relevant agencies to complete the entire process so that residents who are affected and must be relocated have certainty to move and not far from their hometowns, and ensure that the land proposed is not affected or threatened.
"We are still waiting for exact data on how many houses must be relocated at the four affected sub-district points, while for damaged houses not to be relocated, they will receive stimulant assistance from the central government whose data is being completed," he said.
As for the three relocation points in three sub-districts, namely Kadupandak, Tanggeung and Agrabinta, he added, the village and sub-district already have village land that can be used so that it remains only to complete the data including the results of PVMBG research.
Waringinsari Village Head Ajie Nadier when contacted on Saturday, said that after having difficulty getting land to relocate hundreds of family heads, his party received assistance from the Cianjur Regency Government to buy land owned by residents in Cipeusing Village.
"The Regent of Cianjur has stated his readiness to buy land belonging to residents to be used as a relocation village for 204 family heads whose data has been entered into the Cianjur BPBD for processing," he said.
He explained earlier that the village had difficulty finding land to relocate residents affected by the movement of land that was no longer habitable because so far it did not have village land, especially after the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) issued research results.
So that his party seeks to find land for residents who want to be sold to be used as a new village for residents who must be relocated from a number of villages in Waringisari Village.
"It has been submitted, including a statement that is ready to sell and has received approval from the Cianjur Regency Government, in the near future a relocation process will be carried out while waiting for research to be carried out again by BPBD and PVMBG regarding feasibility," he said.
He added that it is possible that the number of residents who have been relocated will increase as land movements continue to expand and grow deeply, where around 40 families of data are currently in the process of submitting to the Cianjur BPBD.
