Retired Pati TNI-Polri Declaration Support Ganjar
JAKARTA - Support for the PDIP presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo continues to grow. This time, support was provided by thousands of Retired TNI, Polri and civil society members of the ranks of Gapura Nusantara volunteers.
Located at the Kelapa Gading Sport Center Jakarta, Saturday, June 10, the retired TNI Polri and civil society held a declaration of support for Ganjar Pranowo. Ganjar was present directly accompanied by the Head of the PDIP Volunteer Team, Ahmad Basarah.
The event was attended by a number of retired high-ranking officers (Pati) from three TNI dimensions and the police. Among them were TNI Admiral (Ret.) Bernard Kent Sondakh, TNI Marshal (Ret.) Agus Supriatna, TNI Admiral (Ret.) Agus Setiadi, TNI Major General (Ret.) TB Hasanuddin, Inspector General Pol (Ret.) Erwin Tobing, Inspector General Pol (Ret.) Fakrhrizal and other generals.
"We and our retired friends often discuss who is the presidential candidate who can not only continue Jokowi's program, but also dare and be firm in facing radicalism, terrorism, caliphate and intolerance. And after seeing the track record of figures, the one who meets the criteria the most is Mr. Ganjar Pranowo," said the founder and supervisory board of the Gapura Nusantara volunteers, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Bernard Kent Sondakh.
The former KSAL added that as a national soldier, his party was sad to see the many cases of intolerance, radicalism and anti-Pancasila understanding in Indonesia. In fact, the challenges of this nation in the future are very large and we need the unity and integrity of the nation's children.
"For this reason, it takes a leader who is brave and firm in fighting this understanding for Indonesia's sake to be more advanced," he said.
He also invited retired TNI Polri and all people who have the same vision and mission to support Ganjar Pranowo as president.
"There is no word resigning anymore, we have been trained asCUssant fighters who never give up. It's time for us to fight to take Pak Ganjar as the 8th president of Indonesia," he said.
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo expressed his gratitude for the support provided by Gapura Nusantara. According to him, support is an energy that makes the spirit boil even more.
"Many generals today support me. I feel proud and say thank you. I am also touched, because our seniors really care and never stop to look after the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
Because not only support, but the spirit of the retired TNI and Polri who according to Ganjar is extraordinary. How do they fight for the consensus of the state so that the younger generation has a strong foundation in protecting the nation and state.
"Realizing harmony, respecting differences to achieve the ideals of this country. So as not to be disturbed by matters of different ethnicity, religion, race and group that have been agreed upon," he said.
With the agreement that has become a strong foundation, the next focus for the Indonesian people is on issues related to the progress of the nation.
"For example, about how to take advantage of the infrastructure that has been built by Pak Jokowi, how we talk about IKN must be completed, how the economy can recover and how the new economy can grow needs to be developed. If we can do that, then Indonesia's ideals as a big country can be realized," he concluded.
