Gibran said the Surakarta City Government would select established residents.

He said the move was in accordance with the rules, namely when the occupants of the flats had lived in the residence within a certain period of time, they should have been able to buy their own house.

"Or contract outside the flats," he said.

Moreover, he said, until now many prospective flats have registered.

"Because many people need it, there are more waiting lists," he said.

However, he said, the selection of established residents will be carried out in stages and humanely.

"If it is strong, we will be able to arrange it. Gradually, there is already data," said Gibran.
