JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) canceled examining the wife of former Aceh Governor Irwandi Yusuf, Fenny Steffy Burase today. He was absent from the summons of investigators as a witness in the alleged gratification case for the construction of the Sabang Pier project.

"The witness was not present and without confirmation from the investigative team regarding the reasons for his absence," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, May 19.

Previously reported, the KPK said that the gratuities received by Izil came from PT Nindya Sejati, which carried out the Sabang Pier construction project. The money with the term'security guarantee' was given by the management represented by Heru Sulaksono and Zainuddin Hamid.
