KCIC Asks Andil Communities To Keep Fast Train Function Test Smooth
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) asked the public to participate in maintaining the smooth process of one of the important stages of the operation of the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB). The stage is the commissioning test or function test.
To help smooth the process, the community is asked not to move on the KCJB route because it has the potential to endanger the implementation of the commissioning test.
General Manager of Corporate Secretary KCIC Rahadian Ratries in his statement in Jakarta, Friday, said that although along the KCJB route, he had been given barbed fences and wire, the public was still asked to participate in maintaining the facilities and infrastructure of one of the national strategic projects.
The KCJB route itself stretches from Halim, East Jakarta to Tegalluar, Bandung Regency with a length of 142.3 kilometers (km) both in subgrade, elevated, tunnel, and bridge.
"The KCJB channel will soon be supplied with electricity of 27.5 kilovolts (KV) so that people are asked not to enter the KCJB route because it is very dangerous and can be electrocuted. Children around the route are also asked not to play kites around the KCJB route because the threads and kites have the potential to disrupt KCJB electricity," said Rahadian.
The commissioning test to be carried out is an initial commissioning test between KCIC and contractors to ensure the readiness of the KCJB facilities and infrastructure that have been built. Later in the next stage is the commissioning test with the Ministry of Transportation in the context of certification like the KCJB operation.
KCJB will also have speeds of up to 350 km/hour so that the smallest foreign object has the potential to interfere and endanger the operation of KCJB.
KCIC also urges people who have livestock or pets to supervise it because they are feared to enter the KCJB area or route.
Currently, KCIC is socializing community leaders around the KCJB route to explain the stages that will be carried out in the context of preparing for the KCJB operation.
These figures are expected to help socialize the commissioning test plan to all people in their area.
In addition to direct socialization, KCIC also installed socialization signs in the form of posters or banners related to the implementation of the KCJB commissioning test. The hope is that the community will be able to play an active role in maintaining the safety of themselves and others in the KCJB route environment.
KCIC, he said, has also coordinated with the TNI and Polri to help smooth KCJB operations since the construction process, commissioning test until later commercial operations.
KCIC also thanked the support provided by the TNI and Polri as well as all stakeholders who helped smooth the commissioning test.
"KCIC also asks the public to jointly protect all KCJB facilities and infrastructure so that KCJB can be operated on time," said Rahadian.
