北スマトラ警察が20kgの覚せい剤を売っている祖父の事件をJPUに移送

The North Sumatra Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate team handed over the case of a grandfather suspected of selling narcotics worth 20 kg of methamphetamine from the North Sumatra-Aceh network to the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Medan Kejari.

The grandfather of the suspected drug dealer, namely MY (55), a resident of Jalan Besar Medan-Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe City.

"The case file for phase II on behalf of the suspect MY alias Akob has been submitted on Thursday (4/5) to the prosecutor," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 10.

Hadi said that the surrender of the suspect to the prosecutor was a firm form of the North Sumatra Police handling drug cases.

The arrest of MY suspect on March 30, 2023 for the development of the arrests of suspects MI alias Ibal and RJ alias July on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Teluk bakang Village, Tanjung Pura, Langkat Regency, with evidence of methamphetamine weighing 3 kg.

"From information from the personnel of the Sub-Directorate II Team of the North Sumatra Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate conducted an investigation and succeeded in arresting the suspect MY alias Akob on Jalan Besar Medan-Banda Aceh, Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe," he said.

After being arrested, personnel carried out developments on Jalan Besar Medan-Banda Aceh, Blangraya, Lhokseumawe and managed to obtain 20 kg of methamphetamine evidence.

"From the suspect's hands, evidence of methamphetamine was confiscated, ready for distribution weighing 20 kg," he explained.

Kombes Hadi said from the statement the suspect MY was promised a wage of Rp. 5 million by a person with the initials A to pick up methamphetamine on the side of the Lhokseumawe Cross Road.

"In the drug trafficking case, a woman named Era was also arrested," said Hadi.
