Then, when he was about to leave the historic location, he took the time to witness the declaration of a number of his supporting volunteers. After that, with security from the Cakra Buana PDIP Task Force, Ganjar was led to leave the village which had been crowded with students and local residents who wanted to see it firsthand.
"Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Ganjar, want to shake hands, sir," said a number of students and residents shouting as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 6.
By still smiling, the man who also serves as General Chair of the Gadjah Mada University Alumni Family (Kagama) welcomed the hands of residents who wanted to shake hands with him.
Outside the village, thousands of volunteers also welcomed their presidential candidates with shouts and calls for their names until the number one person in the Central Java Provincial Government entered the car and left the location.
Meanwhile, one of the volunteers, Head of Banteng Millennial Surabaya Entrepreneur Andy Hwantono, said that the sound of gen Z in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) almost reached 60 percent.
Therefore, his party wants to invite young entrepreneurs in East Java, especially Surabaya, to give their voting rights to Ganjar Pranowo.
"By choosing Ganjar Pranowo, we can continue what Mr. Joko Widodo has fought for. Therefore, we focus on supporting Pak Ganjar," he said.
According to him, by supporting Ganjar Pranowo, he automatically supports and continues the program that has been designed by President Joko Widodo.
"Pak Jokowi's program, we can see, from an economic point of view, several times Indonesia was hit by a crisis but when led by Pak Jokowi Indonesia it was able to get through that, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic yesterday, Indonesia did not have a recession," he said.
Meanwhile, the head of the Surabaya Millennial Santri, Guntur Adi, said that he and thousands of young students were grateful to have declared Ganjar Pranowo as the president he would elect in the 2024 presidential election.
"The figure of Mr. Ganjar Pranowo is the right person to continue what has been done by Mr. President Joko Widodo and we are sure that Pak Ganjar has also committed to pro-people, especially pro-Santri," he said.

Then, Ganjar also had time to greet Surabaya residents in the Surabaya City Square who ended up visiting Bung Karno's birth home. During consolidation, Ganajr stated that one of the criteria for the vice presidential candidate he wanted, namely having one view.
"One vision," said Ganjar after attending his winning consolidation event held by the East Java PDI-P DPD at a hotel in the city of Surabaya, Saturday.
Even though he has criteria for a vice presidential candidate who will accompany him to run in the 2024 presidential election, Ganjar still leaves all decisions to the PDI-P.
He believes that PDIP under the leadership of Megawati Soekarnoputri is able to find and screen the candidate for Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia with the best capacity and capability. "It is being discussed by the party and between parties. Let it process first," he said.
