KCIC Involves Retail Management Sarinah At Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train Station
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC) will present a new concept from a cultural and retail perspective at the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train Station (KCJB). KCIC will also involve Sarinah to manage retail at the station.
KCIC Corporate Secretary Rahadian Ratries said that as a form of collaboration between KCIC and BUMN, the management of the retail area at the Jakarta Bandung high-speed train station will be carried out by Sarinah.
This collaboration was marked by the signing of the MoU between KCIC and Sarinah related to the management and marketing of retail areas throughout KCJB Station and Halim LRT Integration Station in October 2022.
"Collaboration with Sarinah is carried out because Sarinah is considered to have experience in developing a property into a community activity and shopping center," he said, written Thursday, April 27.
Moreover, continued Rahadian, the Halim Fast Train Station itself will later become a meeting point for many people who use KCJB, Jabodebek LRT, and various other modes of transportation.
To make KCJB sustainable, said Rahadian, KCIC will continue to optimize various potential revenues from the non-farebox side.
"The forms of asset entrepreneurship include property rental, retail, advertising, parking, utilities, and others," he said.
Meanwhile, Sarinah's President Director Fetty Kwartati said Sarinah was very proud to be part of the successful development of KCJB.
"I hope this collaboration can provide the best choice from local Indonesian products that Sarinah has chosen and drained, thus making KCJB a Commercial Area that can accommodate the needs of transportation service users as well as become a shopping tourism destination in accordance with the concept of From commuter to customer, said Fetty.
