JAKARTA - The Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (JAW) exhibition which took place during March 10-19 2023 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, South Jakarta, officially closed on Saturday, March 19.
Morris Garages through MG Motor Indonesia was awarded the "Favorite Booth" award because he was considered creative in combining works of art to their booths.
The winning trophy prize was handed over by the General Secretary of GAIKINDO, Kukuh Kumara to the Marketing and PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia, Arief Syarifudin at Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Saturday, March 19.
"This award is clear evidence that MG does not only rely on historical value strength, but also proves its consistency as a vehicle brand that has an influence in being part of a lifestyle. In the future MG will continue to explore the potential talents of young Indonesian people and open up to become a platform that can empower their creativity and simultaneously show how the automotive world can go hand in hand with lifestyle," said Arief in his statement, Monday, March 20.
In the midst of many manufacturers appearing uniquely, the choice of MG as "Favorite Booth" shows that the British car manufacturer has successfully displayed a collaboration between the automotive industry and lifestyle according to the new concept of exhibition, namely Automotive x Lifestyle.
"We always carry MG brands and products with great pride at every automotive event and exhibition, and this GJAW event is no exception, boot design is no less important to think carefully in order to provide added value to the quality of vehicles that have become a separate advantage in the MG car series," said Arief.
This is the second Favorite Booth title achieved by MG in 2023. At the 2023 GJAW, MG realized a collaboration with young visual artists in the country, namely Abenk Alter, who made New MG ZS a forum in describing his creativity.
Apart from Abenk Alter, MG also collaborated with Muklay for the second time by showing off monochrome artwork on the MG 5 GT sedan. Meanwhile, MG also collaborated with a number of well-known Indonesian fashion designers, such as Rinaldy Yunardi, to automatically make MG booth look like an art exhibition.
