JAKARTA The case of abuse carried out by Mario Dandy Satrio, son of former Directorate General of Taxes official, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, resulted in a domino effect on the state institution that oversees the place where Rafael serves. Mario's behavior showing off luxury vehicles on social media raises public suspicions.

Rafael was finally fired from his position as Head of the General Regional Office of the South Jakarta DGT II. Then, as many as 69 Ministry of Finance employees who had unnatural assets were investigated.

The atmosphere became even more noisy when North Sumatra Directorate General of Taxes Bursok Anthony Marlon also opened his voice regarding the problems that exist at the Ministry of Finance. Sri Mulyani was also the highest leader in the institution affected.

The hashtag #srimulyani has been postponed and has been trending on Twitter. The results of Netray monitoring said that the conversation about Sri Mulyani's narrative resigned appeared in 5,824 tweets from 2,681 accounts during the period 6-13 March 2023.

The conversation, which uses the keyword sri mulyani &&resign and menkeu && back, is dominated by negative sentiment. The peak of the conversation occurred on March 11, 2023, with a total of 1,355 tweets," Netray wrote in its report on March 16, 2023.

The most popular negative tweet was made by the @Alisyarief account which shared news of the demand for resignation for Finance Minister Sri Mulyani from fusionnews.com. This tweet received high impressions, with 327 retweets, 1,108 likes and 120 comments.

Political observer Rocky Gerung and Masyumi Party Chair Ahmad Yani conveyed similar demands. Rocky sees Sri Mulyani as the source of the mess. The @OpositisCerdas and @democrazymedia accounts seemed to be tweeting this news.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Yani quoted Mahfud MD's statement regarding the alleged illegal transaction of 300 trillion as written by the @geloraco and @RamliRizal accounts.

Other politicians, such as the Deputy for Strategy and Policy of the Democratic Party DPP, Yan Harahap also asked Sri Mulyani to dismantle the Rp300 trillion scandal, "If you can't afford it, it's better to resign."

Although criticism for resigning dominates, many Twitter activists who support Sri Mulyani continue to move forward to clean up the scandal that occurred.

Instead, they assumed that those who asked Sri Mulyani to resign were those who were afraid that their dirty actions would be revealed as tweeted by @vita_AVP and @bebebek_NKRI.

They believe Sri Mulyani is able to solve the problems that occur because she is the best and honest minister, as can be seen from the @CharlieCool2 and @H4l1mun_D1n61n accounts.

During the monitoring period, the keywords for washing and money were seen as words that were widely mentioned by Twitter activists. This is related to Mahfud MD who said the Ministry of Finance was one of the or even the final warehouses of money laundering crimes. This allegation has been tweeted by various accounts such as @OpositisCerdas, @democrazymedia, and @bianca125547620.

The Opository Cerdas account became the most impressed account during the monitoring period, which was 4,313 times. This account tweeted a lot of news about the demand to withdraw for Sri Mulyani from various figures.

The @miduk17 account is the second account to get a lot of impressions. This account only tweeted one tweet during monitoring, namely asking for an opinion about a replacement figure for Sri Mulyani if she resigned, while offering a number of figures such as Rizal Ramli, Refly Harun, Neno Warisman, and others.

The issue of suspicious transactions amounting to Rp300 trillion was first raised by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD on March 8, 2023. According to him, this transaction came from accounts of around 460 officials at the Directorate General of Taxes and Customs and Excise. Accumulated since 2009.

"It's different from the transaction of Rp500 billion from the account of Rafael Alun Trisambodo. I got the data from PPATK (Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center)," said Mahfud.

Related to that, Sri Mulyani has also committed to cleaning up. However, as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube on March 10, 2023, she did not know the details of the IDR 300 trillion case.

"Frankly, I haven't seen it yet because in the letter there is no number. Later when I return to Jakarta I will talk again with Pak Mahfud and Pak Ivan (Head of PPATK) where did the numbers come from? So I have the same information as the media and the public," he explained.

"I promise Mr. Mahfud, 'Come on, Mr. Mahfud, I'm being helped.' I'm happy to help. We want to clean it up, we clean it up, but with the same data, with the same facts," added Sri Mulyani.
