Police Shoot Dead Narcotics Port In Musi Banyuasin Against With Senpi And Golok
PALEMBANG - Personnel from the Musi Banyuasin Police Drug Investigation Unit, South Sumatra, shot dead a drug dealer for trying to fight the officers. This drug dealer opened fire on local residents.
Kapolres Musi Banyuasin AKBP Erlin Tangjaya said the sabu dealer named Andi (35) was ambushed in Tanjung Agung Utara Village, Lais District.
"The team raided the perpetrator at his house, the perpetrator came out and instead carried a firearm in his right hand and a sharp weapon (machete) in his left hand," he said as quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 8.
The perpetrator opened fire on the officers four times, the bullets missed and did not hit the officers, but the bullets actually hit a girl with the initials P.
The police also opened fire at the perpetrator because the resistance given was very dangerous and the perpetrator died on the way to the hospital.
"We have handed over the perpetrator's body and taken the family from Sekayu Regional Hospital for burial," he said.
According to Erlin, the perpetrator was a dealer who often traded narcotics in Tanjung Agung Utara Village and had become the target of operations. Even the police raided him several times but the perpetrators always escaped.
While from the raid the police confiscated 614 grams of crystal methamphetamine in six packages, 1 homemade firearm, 2 rounds of ammunition, 9 rounds of 38 MM ammunition, 8 rounds of 9 MM caliber, 2 rounds of long-barreled ammunition and a sharp weapon.
"We also secure various kinds of amulets from the hands of the perpetrators who are alleged to carry out their criminal acts," said Erlin.
Meanwhile, victim P who was hit by the perpetrator's bullet in the right chest was treated at RSMH Palembang.
