Here's How To Install Google Apps On Huawei Phones
JAKARTA - As is known, Huawei's newest line of cellphones no longer get Google Mobile Service (GMS) services. Because Huawei is included in the list of companies banned by the United States (US).
Although Huawei has presented Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) Core and a series of alternative applications to replace Google. A number of Huawei device users feel uncomfortable and still feel complicated for some people who are not used to it without Google.
The good news is, a member of the XDA Developer forum with the account name bender_007, has managed to find a way for Huawei phones to access Google services. Dubbed Googlefier, this app can install Google apps onto Huawei and Honor smartphones.
Citing the XDA Developer page, this application can provide APK files that can be downloaded and installed on Huawei or Honor devices. If you want to try it, you can download Googlefier HERE.
This Googlefier uses the LZ Play method which will replace the existing backup application and restore it back. This application has been popular since the Huawei Mate 30 is no longer equipped with Google services.
Basically, Googlefier will install basic services on the device, such as the Google Play Store and other GMS services. Once connected to a Google account, a device like Huawei can get all the other Google applications it needs back.
In the XDA Developer forum, bender_007 has successfully tested the Googlefier application on Huawei P40 Pro and MatePad Pro devices running EMUI 10. There is a little note for using this application, if users have updated the software on their device to EMUI 11 then Googlefier will not work.
Another additional note, the Googlefier app starts the process by means of a factory reset or factory reset, so make sure to back up all data, files, messages, and so on before you continue with the next step.
