[PHOTO] Demonstration To Reject Job Creation Law: Asks President Jokowi To Issue A Perppu

JAKARTA - Today, Thursday, October 22, a crowd consisting of workers and students took action to reject the Job Creation Law. They took action in the area of the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta.

Representatives of the mass workers were given the opportunity to meet representatives of President Joko Widodo, Deputy IV of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Juri Ardiantoro. They submitted a letter for the President to read.

"The contents of the letter are a request to the president to cancel the Job Creation Law through the Perppu," said the General Chairperson of LEM SPSI, Arif Minardi, who added that this law must be repealed because of flawed procedures in the drafting until its ratification.
