Russia Ready to Show Off a Line of Military Equipment in Saudi Arabia, Including Advanced Drones and Assault Ships

Russia will showcase high-speed assault ships, BK-16 and BK-10 models at the 2026 World Defense Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Through its defense manufacturing company, Kalashnikov Group, Russia will also present the latest short-range surface-to-air missile system, Krona-E.

"Products from the Rybinsk Shipyard, which is also part of Kalashnikov, will be represented by the BK-16E high-speed assault landing craft models and the BK-10 assault craft. The latest Krona-E short-range surface-to-air missile system for large-area air defense deserves special attention from the exhibition participants and guests," said a statement from the Kalashnikov Group quoted by Tass, Friday.

In addition, the weapons manufacturer will also demonstrate the new Rus-PE portable reconnaissance and attack system with guided ammunition at the event, which will take place from February 8 to 10.

Those attending the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh will also be given the opportunity to see traditional Kalashnikov firearms: the latest AK-12 5.45 mm series assault rifle and the AK-15 7.62 mm series assault rifle.

The RPL-20 5.45 mm light machine gun using an ammunition belt and the Chukavin SVCh 7.62 mm sniper rifle will also be exhibited.

Kalashnikov will showcase the Lebedev PLK 9 mm compact pistol and the Lebedev MPL 9 mm modular pistol to the exhibition participants.

Russian domestic military drones shown at the event also include Karakurt 2.0 and Goliath 2.0 helicopter-type drones, Skat-350M all-weather high-altitude tactical reconnaissance drones, and KUB-2E guided cruise ammunition.
