2025 Suhandinata Cup: Indonesia Beats Philippines 2-0

JAKARTA Indonesia won the first match of Group F World Junior Mixed Team Championships 2025 or the Suhandinata Cup against the Philippines.

Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah and the team managed to win 2-0 with the final score of 45-17 and 45-40 in the match which took place at the National Center of Excellence, Guwahati, Assam, India, on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Ubed, Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah's nickname, who captained the team, admitted that he had played optimally and was grateful to be able to contribute points to the Indonesian team.

"Alhamdulillah, I am quite happy to be playing in this event which is my last junior tournament. I played well and maximally, I am also grateful to be able to contribute points to the team," said Ubed.

Indonesia menurunkan line-up set pertama terdiri dari Ubed, Ikhsan L. Pramudya/Rinjani K. Nastine, Raihan DE Pramono/M. Rizki Mubarrok, Thality R. Wiryawan, dan Riska Anggraini/Rinjani K. Nastine.

Then he set the two Indonesian formations namely Richie Duta Richardo, T. Steve Kurniawan/Leonora K. Frandrica, Raihan/Rizki, Thalita, and Salsabila Zahra Aulia/Yasinta Ristyna Putri.

After winning easily in the first game, the Indonesian team's journey was not smooth in the second game. Although at the beginning of the second game,tai Duta Richardo had managed to lead 9-5, Indonesia was missed in the second match.

Muhammad Rizki Mubarrok/Raihan Daffa Edsel Pramono then managed to turn things around and bring Indonesia back to 27-22.

Thalita also managed to maintain Indonesia's advantage over the Philippines when defeating Fuentespina 36-32. Indonesia then ended the match with a win over the Philippines after Salsabila/Yasintha beat Andrea/ great 45-40.

This result makes Indonesia occupy the top of the 2025 Suhandinata Cup Group F standings. Furthermore, Indonesia will face Slovenia on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
