Dasco Wanti-Wanti BGN About MBG Poisoning: We Hope It Doesn't Happen Again
JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, has warned the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) in charge of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program to be more careful so that the incident of poisoning to students is no longer repeated.
This was said by Dasco in response to the incident of 215 students in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) who were poisoned by MBG.
Dasco encouraged BGN to supervise and conduct direct checks on the quality and distribution of MBG. Starting from payments, processing in the kitchen to getting to the hands of students.
"Yes, we ask (BGN), we know that BGN also has a new system in terms of supervision. They have a rhythm of power for field supervision, both to check the quality of food, distribution and in terms of payment from MBG to the kitchen," said Dasco at the Paleman Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, July 28.
"So we hope that incidents like that don't happen again," added the daily chairman of the Gerindra DPP.
