Prabowo Says Thank You To The Parents Of Youth Officers: The Soldier's Profession Is Noble And Not Light

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto expressed his gratitude to the parents of the youth officers of the TNI and Polri who had just been inaugurated at the 2025 Prasetya Perwiraspa ceremony.

In his mandate, President Prabowo said that the profession of soldiers is a noble profession, and full of challenges.

"I thank my family, parents, who have given up their sons and daughters to serve as soldiers, as officers. Once again, the profession of officers, the profession of soldiers is a noble profession, but not light," Prabowo said during the Praspa ceremony at the Merdeka Palace, Wednesday, July 23.

For the first time as President, Prabowo inaugurated 2,000 teenage officers who graduated from the academic three dimensions of the TNI and Polri. They consist of 827 Army officers, 433 Navy officers, 293 Air Force officers, and 447 Police officers.

The ceremony was also an honorary promotion event for the eight best graduates who received Adhi Makayasa by President Prabowo. They are Alim Bimo Pratowo (TNI AD), Muh. Afridzal Mukhlis (TNI AD), Menda Putra Duta (TNI AL), Arya Handaru (TNI AL), Evan Basith Reswara (TNI AU), Axel Fahreza Adiatma (TNI AU), Muh. Malik Aditya K (Polri), Fathan Putra Rifito (Polri).

In his speech, President Prabowo also expressed his pride for the birth of a new generation of officers who have been trained for four years by coaches and coaches at the academy.

"I am proud to see the nation's best brothers and sisters, stand tall, believe in your oath. Never break your oath!" said the President.

He also gave important messages to teenage officers to always be role models in every assignment.

"Always in front, set an example with courage, with courage, with intelligence. You hope all the people. Be wise as well as possible. Congratulations on your duty, teenage officers TNI and Polri 2025. The people, the state, and the nation await your service," he said.

The Praspa ceremony at the Merdeka Palace was also attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and chiefs of staff from three TNI dimensions.

Also present were DPR Speaker Puan Maharani, MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani, DPD Chairman Sultan Bachtiar Najamuddin, and a number of Red and White Cabinet ministers including Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
