Manchester United Prepares IDR 1.9 Trillion Offer For Two Inter Milan Stars

JAKARTA - Manchester United are reportedly preparing a big offer of 100 million euros for two Inter Milan defenders, Denzel Dumfries and Yann Bisseck. This step was taken by the club after they had a difficult season in 2024-25.

The Red Devils' position is now slumped in 14th place in the Premier League standings. Manchester United are at risk of ending the season with the worst rankings in their history after only collecting 39 points from 34 matches. However, they still have the opportunity to win trophies and get a place in the Champions League if they are able to win the Europa League.

However, although Europe's chances are still open, many argue that Manchester United need to strengthen their squad with players in accordance with the 3-4-2-1 system desired by coach Ruben Amorim.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing an offer to strengthen their attacking options by recruiting Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Matheus Cunha. Although their main focus is on the front lines, the club is also reportedly interested in strengthening other sectors, especially defense.

According to a report from InterLive.it, Manchester United is planning an offer of 100 million euros to sign Dumfries and Bisseck from Inter Milan in the transfer window next summer. The report states that the Red Devils are ready to pay 40 million euros (around Rp766 billion) for Dumfries and 60 million euros (around Rp1.1 trillion) for Bisseck.

Dumfries, which has proven itself to be a solid right-wing-back while at Inter Milan, is believed to be compatible with the Amorious tactical system. However, it is difficult to see how Dumfries can enter Manchester United's main squad unless they release players like Noussair Mazraoui or Diogo Dalot.

Meanwhile, Bisseck may be able to strengthen options in defense, given Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans will most likely leave the club this summer. However, the defense sector is not United's top priority right now, considering they still have Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Leandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, and Ayden Heaven.

Of course, there are doubts about whether Dumfries and Bisseck will be interested in joining Manchester United if they fail to take place in European competitions next season.
