Shanty Tells About Children's Reactions When They Know Their Jobs In The Entertainment World

JAKARTA Singer and actress Shanty shared an interesting story about the moment when her children began to recognize who she was in the eyes of the public. Known as a figure who maintains family privacy enough, Shanty admitted that so far her children did not know her figure as a celebrity.

"My children don't know his mother, who my son knows whose mother is, when he moves to Bali and his school teachers are fans of me," said Shanty in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, recently.

"Then there are some parents of their mother who know Shanty, they slowly think, 'Who is this really me?'," he continued.

Shanty explained that she consciously chose not to expose her children to social media in order to maintain their privacy. But now, she feels it's time to start introducing her world of work to children.

"After that, I want to be aware that this is the change I want. My children, I deliberately did not enter social media for privacy, but I want them to see this is their mother's job," he continued.

"Even if I leave them for two days a day in Bali, don't mess around, you know, the job is serious, you know, and introduce that this is the world," said Shanty.

The first moment children saw Shanty working in person was memorable. The child even had an emotional reaction when he saw his mother surrounded by many people.

"(When I first found out the kids) Bengong. First I took him to the wedding. The little one was so angry because I was surrounded by so many people, they were pushed people off the stage, away from me, very possessive. Yes, he doesn't understand, right," he said.

Now, Shanty is starting to open up space for her children to get to know their mother's life better as a public figure.

"Now I want to invite and this is an afternoon event, not night, they can be introduced," he concluded.

Previously, Shanty had been on hiatus for approximately 12 years from the entertainment world to focus on managing his family. But now, Shanty is again releasing his latest work as a singer.
