Happy Salma Calls Consistency Is The Key To Running MSME Business

TANGERANG - Artist Happy Salma who is also known as the founder of Bali accessories Tulla expressed consistency and was included in the business ecosystem, being the main key for MSME players in running business in the regions today.

"When we are also included in the business ecosystem that is run and consistent with the business being carried out, we can grow together and be balanced and achieve the intended goals in the business," said Happy Salma in a discussion related to Bakti BCA's collaboration between MSMEs and local craftsmen at ICE BSD Tangerang, Banten, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, February 22.

Regarding the unstable national economic condition and sluggish purchasing power, Happy Salma explained that this is a challenge for creative people to issue ideas and innovations to buyers.

For example, collaborating with the private sector to open up new market opportunities so that the MSME products offered still exist in sales.

In addition, business actors must also understand the character in the area with the aim of understanding the needs desired by the community as buyers.

The business that I run in Bali, said Happy, still respects the customs and local communities.

"We cannot force businesses in the same way as other regions. This is what I mean by being part of the business ecosystem," he said.

He said he was happy with the efforts he had been running so far being able to have an impact on local residents and also raise regional potential.

"Sudah 30 ribu item produk yang sudah dibeli dan ini semua karena konsistensi," katanya.

BCA's SVP Corporate Communications Susanti Nurmalawati added that currently there are 26 fostered villages and are targeted to become 31 fostered villages this year.

In each fostered village, there are many MSMEs that are collaborated to be assisted in business development.

Its activities include education related to payment systems, assistance by experts to environmental management such as waste and others.

"The form of development that we provide includes the economic, social and food security sectors," he said.

Susanti is optimistic that the development of MSMEs in the future can continue to grow with the program that has been prepared because BCA has allocated budgets and supporting resources.

"We focus on this year helping MSME product branding and also non-cash payment systems to make it more practical, including making financial and tax reports so that MSME players can go national and even international," he concluded.
