China And Azerbaijan Cooperate In ILRS Development Project

JAKARTA - Azerbaijan's Space Agency, Azerbaijan, signed a project by China's International Moon Research Station. The signing was made at an international space conference last week.

Head of Technician for China's National Space Agency (CNSA) Li Guoping and Chairman of the Azercosmos Council Samaddin Asadov signed a cooperation statement on October 3 at the International Moon Research Station (ILRS). This news was only released by CNSA.

Although the agreement between the two parties has been announced, CNSA did not provide details on the contents of the plan. The Chinese Space Agency only said that they were cooperating in terms of demonstrations, implementation, operation and implementation of ILRS, and many others.

ILRS is a project to build a base on the moon in the 2030s. This protection is led by CNSA which is predicted to be a competitor to the Artemis mission of the United States Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA).
