Rely On The G3 Tensor In The Pixel 8 Series, Google's Success Is At Stake

JAKARTA - Google released the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro last week. Although Google is trying to highlight all the features of the Pixel 8 series, this phone still relies on their G3 Tensor processor.

The G3 tensor will determine whether the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are indeed among the best mobile phones. If the processor they bring does not have many changes, the use of the cellphone will not be satisfactory.

Quoting from 9to5google, Google first released the Tensor processor in 2021. Initially, the Tensor was created to focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Pixel 6 series.

The initial impression of the Tensor was quite good even though there were several problems such as poor connectivity or overheating which got worse in the summer. Once the G2 Tensor appears, Google doesn't bring much change.

This processor makes the phone work faster, but it manages to drain a lot of power. Therefore, both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones will be influenced by the G3 Tensor.

So far, the Tensor G3 looks better, even better than the previous version. This processor has the main Cortex-X3 core, four Cortex-A715 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores.

At least, the G3 Tensor can be stable when played by heavy games without a thrash or match produced. Users should also not feel overheating on their cellphones.

Given that the price is also much higher than the Pixel 7 series, many parties have high hopes for the Pixel 8 series. In the end, Google's success fell on this G3 Tensor.
