Meta Starts Launching Meta Horizon Worlds For Mobile And Web Devices

JAKARTA - Meta has started rolling out its virtual early world access Horizon Worlds to mobile and web devices. Some of the kimi selected people can already play Super Rumble through the Meta Quest application on Android.

In addition, initial access to Meta Horizon Worlds is also available on any web browser on horizon.meta.com. While iOS users will be able to try it in the coming weeks.

"As we launch more of the world in the next few months, you will be able to get together with friends, laugh at comedy shows, and enjoy free concerts and events from any device connected to the web," Meta wrote in its announcement.

Meta revealed the reasons behind the launch of Horizon Worlds for mobile and web. Mark Zuckerberg's company feels that the metaverse should be available to everyone, with any device.

"And although Quest headset is the most in-depth way to access the metaverse, we believe there should be some point of entry. Bringing the Worlds to more surfaces is a step towards realizing that vision and opening up experiences to more people," the company added.

Although currently Horizon Worlds on mobile and web is still in the testing phase, Meta promises this early access will roll out to more people in stages.

"We're testing it for now, so you may not have access to Worlds on mobile and web. Initial access will roll out to more people gradually as we collect input and develop experience," added Meta.

Not to forget, Meta will also reveal more things to share in the next few weeks and months.
