JAKARTA - Reddit plans to increase the accessibility of moderator features for iOS and Android applications by July 1 at the latest.

Director of Products at Reddit, u/joyventure in its upload on the platform explained, a number of improvements will focus on moderators who rely on supporting technology.

"We have spoken with moderators who use auxiliary technology and or moderate accessibility communities to hear their responses and concerns about the needs of moderators and users," u/joyventure said.

The first wave of increased accessibility will arrive before July 1, which includes ModMail (box entry, read, reply to messages, create new letters and personal mod records).

There are also user settings (manage moderators, approved users, muted users, prohibited users).

While the update that arrives no later than early next month is the moderator's way of accessing the moderation tool. Followed by ModQue, such as see, action and comment submissions, filters, content sorting, adding deletion reasons, and mass action items.

Then, late July the upgrades included Community Settings, Ban Evasion Settings, Additional User Settings, and the remaining moderator surfaces arriving in August.
