DuckDuckGo Finally Brings Web Browser For Windows, Here's The Feature!

JAKARTA - DuckDuckGo has re-released a web browser, which of course prioritizes privacy. This time, it is available to Windows in beta.

Previously, the company had launched a web browser for macOS, Android and iOS users. Many features are presented for Microsoft's Operations System (OS).

First, DuckDuckGo presents Duck Player, where users can watch YouTube videos without ads that violate privacy and prevent video views from affecting recommendations.

The third-party Tracking Strengthening Protection is also available, which goes beyond Chrome and other browsers will work to block hidden trackers from companies like Google and Facebook, who hide on other websites before loading up.

"Our desktop browser uses about 60 percent less data than Chrome," DuckDuckGo said on its official website, quoted Friday, June 23.

Users can also import passwords and markers from other browsers or password managers with just a few clicks.

A smarter encryption is also embedded by DuckDuckGo, to ensure that when users visit more websites, the clicked link will be encrypted.

There is also Pop-up Cookie Management, a tool that automatically selects the most personal option and hides pop-up cookies.

DuckDuckGo also brings Fire Button, which burns the latest browsing data in one click. There is also a practical Fire Resistant option for any site to visit.

Finally, the company intends to increase its browser capabilities in macOS, such as faster activation performance, tab embedding capabilities, HTML marker imports and more options for the Fire Button.
