JAKARTA - With digital businesses and a hybrid work environment now the new first norm in the digital era, organizations are facing increasingly sophisticated threat vectors, all in an increasingly complex global economic background.

According to IDC Analyst Brief, Building Cyber Resiliency in a Digital-First Era, sponsored by Kaspersky, to date, more than half of Asia's (52.6 percent) business/Pacific prioritizes their network transformation to support the hybrid cloud environment and better distributed labor.

Therefore, many organizations are trying to collaborate with trusted cybersecurity vendors, especially those with expanded detection and response capabilities (XDR) that offer their expertise in technology, organization, and human resources to ensure cyber resilience initiatives remain met.

According to Kaspersky experts, XDR implementation allows cybersecurity assets to unify data from various endpoints, by utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), analytics and advanced automation to proactively detect and respond to cyberattacks more quickly.

By empowering XDR to trusted partners, organizations can gain access to the right expertise and technology to accelerate cyber resilience initiatives while helping reduce the workload of internal cybersecurity teams to manage tasks beyond the MxDR managed service scope.

"By collaborating with trusted MxDR service providers, organizations will be able to consolidate threat intelligence while enabling holistic and comprehensive views of their entire stack of solutions and allowing more proactive data-based threat hunting," said Adrian Hia, Managing Director of Asia Pacific Kaspersky.

Furthermore, Hia said that trusted MxDR vendors are also able to overcome human factors in cyber resilience by training employees to be more aware of the importance of security through various modern learning techniques including assessment tools and gaming simulations.
