JAKARTA - The default Password Manager in Google Chrome has just received a new security improvement feature. Make users more secure and easy to find in the browser.

Now, Password Managers on Personal Computer (PC), Android or iOS devices starting today will get five new, more secure features, as quoted from Google's official blog, Friday, June 9.

First, Password Manager now has a special homepage on the Chrome desktop, making it easier for users to review all stored online credentials or change their password settings.

They just need to click Password Manager in the Chrome menu or manage passwords when the browser asks to auto-filling saved passwords. For faster access, users can also create desktop shortcuts for Google Password Managers.

The biometric authentication will soon be on the desktop, which was previously only available on the phone browser. When the user activates this feature, they need an additional layer of security before Chrome autosizes the password.

For example, fingerprint recognition, facial recognition, or other methods supported by the user's computer operating system.

Now, users can also add notes to the credentials they store in Password Managers so that all important login details are in one place.

Users only need to click on the key icon when logging into the website to review notes that have been saved on each account easily.

Google also makes it easier for users to upload passwords from other password managers, aka third parties. Simply export passwords as.csv files and import directly to Chrome on the user's PC.

In addition to marking the compromised password, the Password Check on iOS will also mark a weak and reused password. This update will come in a few months.

Finally, users can also log into the website and see easier passwords with Google Password Manager on iOS.

When users navigate to the incoming page in Chrome, they will see a larger demand for auto-filling their password. And when users review the credentials stored in Chrome, some accounts saved for one website will be grouped together easily.
