Google: Indonesia Is One Of The Countries Most Searched For By Tourists In Asia Pacific

JAKARTA - In June and July, many families will have started planning school holidays. Whether it's a beach, camping area, or a place to rest in the city, there are many options you can choose from.

According to Google, most of the destinations sought by Asian Pacific tourists on Google Aviation are located within the region, with Indonesia being one of the top ten destinations for the date of departure between June and August this year.

In the first quarter of 2023, the top countries in Asia Pacific that are most sought after by tourists around the world based on Destination Insights are India, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, and Japan.

Not only foreign tourists, the Indonesian people also want to fly again to explore. However, Google data reveals that the duration of the trip is one of the main considerations.

This fact is evidenced where the search queries for "closest travel from my location" increased by 400 percent, and "How many hours Korean travel to Indonesia" became Google's most popular search term from February to March 2023 in Indonesia.

Google Indonesia data also shows the search and interest in the top travel from abroad in the first quarter of 2023, the search and interest in visits to Indonesia mainly comes from Australia, India, the United States, Singapore, and Germany.
