The Daily Chairperson of the Indonesian E-Sports (ESI) of Central Java, Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar, has a mission to change the stigma of electronic sports or E-Sports in the community. E-Sports, potential from an industrial and social perspective and can be more advanced.

This was conveyed by Alam after chairing the Central Java ESI regional work meeting (rakerda) in Monod Huis, Semarang Old Town Area, Saturday 27 May. This Central Java ESI Rakerda is the first meeting under the new management he chaired.

"Earlier, it was only the Rakerda, we were preparing for the work program for the next year and socializing to urban districts regarding the focus on where we want to go," said the son of the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo.

In addition to socialization, the coordination meeting also discussed preparations for the 2023 Central Java Porprov which will take place in early August. Including preparing for participation in the XXI 2024 PON.

"For Porprov, it will start soon, August, we are still focusing on the technicality, we have done it, just focus on socialization to the regency and city, they are preparing to send the athletes. Because Porprov will also be one of the considerations for sending it to PON," he explained.

The only child pair Ganjar Pranowo and Siti Atikoh have ambitions to bring Central Java E-Sports to be more advanced and developed. This was also emphasized in the coordination meeting.

"This time we want to give a statement if we really have a commitment passion, there is also a design. If the E-Sports is to be developed, "said the UGM Industrial Engineering student.

Alam is optimistic that Central Java's E-Sports can develop and be proud. Moreover, at the 2023 SEA Games, Central Java's E-Sports participated in sending three of its athletes and strengthening Indonesia's overall champion sport.

"So if you have the potential to win, of course, it's just a matter of hope that when this porprov has a maximum talent scoring. So we can know later new seeds that have not been caught before, but it turns out that the child has very potential," he said.

To achieve that, Alam asked for support from all components. Not only the community, but also the synergy between associations, industry, and private companies.

"Each of them can synergize well so that later the development of E-Sports in Central Java is not like this, but can get to the bottom and can also remove the stigma that E-Sports is just a toy but E-Sports has potential in terms of industry and the social side," he said.

For information, Central Java E-Sports athletes have contributed a lot and made achievements at the E-Sports event at the national and even international levels.
