Former US Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci Believes In Bitcoin Even Though Crypto Market Is Chaotic

JAKARTA Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital and former White House Communications Director during Trump's time expressed his confidence in the world's number one digital asset by market capitalization, Bitcoin (BTC).

Scaramucci believes that crypto and Bitcoin have instrinsic value. In a recent interview, Scaramucci also considered FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried to be the crypto version of Bernie Madoff.

The founder of SkyBridge Capital plunged into the crypto world shortly after the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then Scaramucci has invested and praised Satoshi Nakamoto's digital assets.

Based on Bloomberg's information this week, Scaramucci maintains its support for Bitcoin and crypto assets even though the cryptocurrency industry is currently experiencing chaos.

He elaborated that Bitcoin, which is currently trading at 27,000 US dollars (approximately IDR 402 million) is not the true value of BTC. Scaramucci and his company believe intrinsically Bitcoin is worth around 40,000 US dollars (IDR 595 million)."

Scaramucci gave the Bitcoin a higher value not without reason. According to him, crypto adoption is increasing, as well as the address of crypto owners which continues to grow, coupled with Bitcoin Halving being a factor in increasing BTC value.

For information, Bitcoin Haling is a reduction in BTC's reward for Bitcoin mining that occurs for once every four years. The reduced BTC's reward from mining is considered to have the potential to skyrocket the price of Bitcoin as the number is decreasing to mine.

He also compared BTC adoption, with more than 300 million wallets today, with the Internet in 1998, which only reached about 4 percent of the global population. Therefore, when this percentage doubles to 8 percent, investors will see a large return from their bitcoin exposure.
