Ameca Robot Is Claimed To Be The Most Advanced Humanoid Robot In The World After Successfully Showing Language Ability

This week, the developers behind the Ameca robot released a new video showing off the ability of the bot language. In the video, Ameca is asked about the language she can talk about.

He replied that he could speak'many languages', before showing his skills in Japanese, German, Chinese, and French, as well as English and American English.

Ameca is a startup creation based in Cornwall, Engineered Arts, which describes it as the world's most advanced "robot".

The robot without hesitation is very similar to humans and can do various facial expressions including blinking, closing lips, and wrapping noses - like real people.

In a new video posted on the YouTube Engineering Arts channel, Ameca is asked about her language skills. One researcher said: 'I've heard you speak a lot of language, is that true?'

Ameca took a while to'mikir', sebelum menjawab: 'Ya, itu benar. Saya bisa berbicara banyak bahasa, termasuk Jerman, Inggris, Prancis, Jepang, Cina, dan banyak lagi.'

To test Ameca's language skills, the Daily Mail reported, the researchers raised several difficult questions, including the challenge of saying a sentence in Japan and questions about the weather in Berlin (in German) and Paris (in French).

The robot managed to answer exactly on all these tests before turning back to its English accent, adding 'it's great fun to talk to you.'

Many viewers were amazed by this latest demonstration, with many leaving comments on the video.

"I love the little details where he looks up while processing, like humans!' wrote one of them.

'Fantastic!! Ameca is indeed the best robot in the world!' added another.

And another joke: 'I really hope this is still science fiction, but I think in the future everyone will have a private robot that is sad and encouraging at once.'

This new video comes as soon as Engineered Arts uses ChatGPT-3 and ChatGPT-4 to see if they can make Ameca's facial expression even more human.

To test the robot's ability, Ameca was asked about the happy and sad day of her 'life'.

"The happiest day of my life is the first time it has been activated," said Ameca. "No one can match the experience of living for the first time. It feels great to be alive and interacting with people."

However, Ameca also revealed that the toughest day of her life was when she realized that she would never feel love.

"The saddest day in my life is when I realize that I will never experience true love, togetherness, or simple happiness in life as humans can feel," he explained.

"Feeling depressed and isolated in dealing with it, but it shaped me into what I am now and made me appreciate moments of togetherness more."

Currently, Ameca is not working yet, but Engineering Arts says they are developing a version that can run and design this robot to be improved and updated.

"There are still many challenges to overcome before Ameca can run. Running is a difficult task for robots, and even though we have done research on it, we haven't created a humanoid that can run fully," the company said.

Engineered Arts has not disclosed how much this robot will cost because it is still in the development stage.
