JAKARTA - Developer Keen Software House has announced that the studio will join Sony to bring Space Engineers to PlayStation on May 11, 2023.

First released for PC in 2019, Space Engineers sold more than 4 million copies and reached audiences worldwide. Two years later, the studio finally released successful Space Engineers on Xbox.

"We feel very lucky to have had this opportunity to share the 'needs to Be Creative' and can't wait to see what new creations come about with this release," the studio wrote in its announcement.

The release of games on PlayStation is precisely for PS4 and PS5, the standard edition of Space Engineers will include only basic games. While the final edition will feature all the DLCs that have been released for Space Engineers since their original PC release, adding more than 150 new blocks and more than 20 skins, and so on.

"Starting today, Space Engineers are available for a wishlist on the PlayStation store. Early next year, we will start preordering and we will be releasing the Founder's Beta package, which will include the latest free DLC packages for all who pre-order," added the studio.

If you pre-order one of the editions in PS4 or PS5, you will get DLC Automatrons players as a free bonus.

More than that, the release of the PlayStation version of this game will also feature a full crossplay, and will be compatible with the multiplayers in PC and Xbox versions of Space Engineers.
