JAKARTA - Developer Daedalic Entertainment and publisher Nacon have confirmed in a stone-uploaded announcement on Twitter that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will soon launch on May 25.
The launch date for this title has been delayed several times. This new game was scheduled to launch in 2021, and was later postponed.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was then scheduled for release on September 1, but was eventually pushed back to May 2024.

"Sméagol will swear by Precious, your new adventure in Middle-earth begins on May 25, 2023!", the developer wrote in his announcement on Twitter, on Friday, March 24.
Based on the game's caption, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, based on the legendary trilogy of Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, tells the experience of Gollum from behind the scenes in the first chapter of the Fellowship of the Rings.
As a Gollum, you have to sneak, climb, and use all of his cunningness to survive the danger of his journey through Middle-earth. You also have to deal with the human side, Sm\'eagol.
The Lord of the Rings Gollum will come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Xbox One. However, his presence on the Nintendo Switch is not yet known when it will be released.
