JAKARTA - Opera is the latest browser to build OpenAI-based generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), by presenting AI Prompts on desktop.
AI Prompts was created to provide super fast access from the address bar or by highlighting text elements on the website, and cydebar access to services such as ChatGPT and ChatSonic.
This gives users the additional ability to create AI-generated images.
"We have some news that changed the game for you, with today's launch, Opera Browser and Opera GX combining a number of AI-powered tools," Opera said in its official blog post.
"A series of new features, namely AI Prompts, plus cydebar access to ChatGPT and ChatSonic are set to change your browsing experience. You will not only experience the future of the web, but explore with super power," he added.
According to Opera, AI Prompts is an attractive choice for AI content and is generative, where users can do various things with the data available on websites.
For example, this tool also gives users a way to contextualize and shorten the information on the web page in one click and even tell them about the important points being discussed.
In addition, users can use AI commands to find other related content with the same topic.
The company also added the ability for users to create tweets about topics or even make rap songs based on material. Opera integration seems more intuitive and easier to use than Microsoft Edge.
The AI feature that supports ChatGPT, said Opera, is only the beginning. The upcoming version of its product can also use Opera's own AI algorithm, in addition to supporting ChatGPT-based features.
"You can produce ideas, summarys, translations, travel plans. You can write codes, learn music, get help in math, the draft text continues to grow! ChatSonic is also so smart that it can create images for you," Opera said.
"Overall, a new tool offers portals to more personal and intelligent webs that provide solutions for your special needs. Pay attention to that to use the AIGC tool on the sidebar, you must create an account with each service or log in with your existing account, if you already have it," he added.
Launching 9to5Mac, Wednesday, March 23, users can test new AI upgrades that are currently in early access on Mac, Windows, and Linux for standard Opera and on Mac and Windows browsers with Opera GX.
