JAKARTA - Telegram provides several updates for its users, including Battery Saving Mode, Screen Speed Options, and also the ability to find out who has read messages in groups.

Even though it's full of animation and effects, Telegram optimizes it, keeping any phone strong, without consuming a lot of battery usage.

To provide more optimal battery usage, Telegram launches Power Saving Mode. This mode can be set to turn on automatically when your battery reaches a certain percentage, but with an update, users can now disable certain effects to further optimize the performance of your battery.

IOS users can also use power saving settings to limit background updates. For Android, the company says it has tested more than 200 types of devices manually to see how well Telegram performs and made optimized default settings to ensure all users get the best experience.

You can enable Power Saving Mode or truncate individual settings for autoplay, animation, and effect in Settings > Power Savings.

Over the years, Telegram users have been able to change the speed of video playback, podcasts, voice messages and videos. With this update, now you can have more flexibility by holding the 2x button to choose any speed between 0.2x'2.5x.

To change the video playback speed, tap the Android Menu or iOS Menu, then tap on the 'Vehicle Screening Speed' and move the slider.

To facilitate collaboration in a small team, read receipts in groups under 100 members will now show the time when your message is read by everyone.
