JAKARTA - Grammarly, a spelling and grammar checker added a generalized Artificial Intelligence (AI) popularized by ChatGPT. This tool is able to write content in a personal writing style.

Dubbed GrammarlyGO, a generative AI product designed to accelerate productivity when people write. In addition to being able to rewrite existing content to help the tone or clarity.

GrammarlyGO can also extend or shorten content to match certain numbers of words.

This tool is also aimed at helping content creation by using AI which will produce outlines or form ideas. Not only that, but GrammarlyGO also takes advantage of a unique context to suggest a one-click prompt when starting or increasing writing.

The company says GrammarlyGO relies on its personal, organizational, and situational contexts to adapt suggestions to the user's writing and communication style itself.

Grammarly has used AI for nearly 14 years to check spelling and grammar, as well as suggesting increased communication. But now, the company is moving more advanced.

GrammarlyGO is in the Grammarly tool, which is integrated into apps like Microsoft Word and Slack, web apps like Gmail, and browser extensions for Chrome.

Every day 50,000 teams and 30 million people use Grammarly, hence the company promises the company's level of security and privacy, along with inclusive communications, which are well adapted by a team of linguists.

It should be noted, GrammarlyGO is not launched specifically for premium subscribers, and is available in free versions in certain markets.

GrammarlyGO will be activated automatically, but can be turned off in the settings. Starting April, the AI tool will begin rolling out in beta in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Japan.

Since the latest version of ChatGPT was launched in November last year, the success of the OpenAI chatbot has proven AI can be a powerful way to make text, summarize information, and notify users, although controversial.

No doubt, many companies are competing to follow in their footsteps, such as Google, Microsoft and DuckDuckGo. This was quoted from Digital Trends, Friday, March 10.
