YouTube Returns To Normal After Thousands Of Users Report Access Problems

JAKARTA - Alphabet Inc's main app and YouTube TV (GOOGL.O) have been fixed after thousands of users reported access issues to video streaming sites on Monday, February 27.

The disruptive tracking site, Downdetector, shows there were more than 12,000 users who reported problems with YouTube on Monday afternoon. Downdetector tracks the interference by collecting status reports from various sources, including errors reported by users on the platform. Most likely, this interference affects the number of users more.

"YouTube said on its status page, 'Good news, this is now fixed! You should be able to access YouTube TV or Main YouTube App as usual on all living room devices'. Reported by Reuters, at 17.49 ET, YouTube incident reports have dropped to around 700 on Downdetector.
