JAKARTA - The Bangkit Program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) together with the search giant Google has officially opened on Monday, February 20, with 5,000 selected students.

The Bangkit program has opened up many opportunities for Indonesian students who want to have a career in the IT world.

Google noted that 90 percent of Bangkit's graduates said the program had opened the door to achieving their first career.

According to BCA Human Capital Vice President of IT Athika Cornelia in the Joint Industry' session at the opening ceremony of Bangkit 2023, students who graduated from Bangkit showed competence that allowed them to contribute to various projects to help the company.

This year, Google hopes to have a greater impact on opening up opportunities for the number of participants in the Bangkit program for 9,000 students in Indonesia.
