JAKARTA - YouTube has officially launched its new multi-language audio track feature to content creators globally. This feature was previously present at the testing stage and is only available for selected creators.

The feature can be used by creators uploading multiple different audio tracks to one video, giving them the ability to offer voiced or duplicated or voiced video content with uploaded audio tracks, giving viewers the option to watch in their primary language.

"Whether it's a chess tutorial, a historical documentary about Rome, or a series of ghost hunting investigations in Italy, we can't wait to see our creators continue to adopt this feature into their own content, and for our viewers to find videos from international channels," he said. YouTube in its official blog post.

To really prove how great this feature is, YouTube is partnering with Mr. Beast to release a video together, which describes how his experience of working with videos dubbing as part of the initial test group.

Mr. Beast often uploads published video content before this feature becomes available and he needs to upload a separate new video for every language option. However, now, this language option can be offered in original video uploads.

Viewers can check whether their favorite videos have multi-language offers just by clicking video settings ( gear icons) on YouTube players.

There, viewers usually choose options related to the quality of video playback, but they will also see a new audio track feature on the duplicated video. In brackets, YouTube tells viewers how many language options are offered and users can select one of the drop-down menus.

As for content creators, they can upload multi-language audio tracks from within the Subtitel Editor's tool for certain videos. They will also be able to return to the library and upload multi-language audio tracks for all their content.

According to YouTube, this feature is quite successful and gets a positive response when testing among small groups of content creators who have collaborated with the company.

As a result, content creators have seen more than 15 percent of their views come from videos that are duplicated and watched in languages other than the main language of last month's channel. The average two million hours of video being dubbing are watched daily on the platform in January.

And this is one of the more than 3,500 voice videos uploaded to the platform that month. Until now, about 40 different languages have been displayed in all YouTube-dubbing videos.

"We want this to be a smooth experience. So that the content will also be adjusted to the language of the choice of viewers and users will be able to search for multilingual content thanks to the translated title and description of the video," explained YouTube.
