Wow! Snapchat Successfully Reaches More Than 750 Million Monthly Active Users

JAKARTA - Evan Spiegel, co-founder and CEO of Snap Inc during its Investor Day, said that Snapchat already surpassed 750 million monthly active users.

"Today, we are pleased to convey that our community has now grown to more than 750 million monthly active users," Spiegel said on the Snapchat blog.

According to company data, more than 75% of Snapchat users are people aged 13 to 34, in more than 20 different countries.

"More than 100 million daily active users have joined Snapchat since our latest Investor Day, with our community now numbering more than 375 million daily active users."

Spiegel also revealed that Snapchat has more than 5 billion Snaps made daily. The amount Spiegel mentions is proof that Snapchat is growing very rapidly.

As a plan to expand Snapchat in the future, Jacob Andreou, SVP of Growth said that the company will continue to expand its reach in a highly monetizable market.

"We continue to expand our reach in very monetizable markets, such as North America, where we have grown to more than 150 million monthly active users," he explained.

Snapchat is also targeting to reach even more fantastic growth rates, reaching more than 1 billion people in the next two to three years.

"Incorporating a new Snapchatter ( Snapchat users) at an important moment in their lives supporting the long-term health of our community, we discovered that when Snapchatters discovered our services from the start in using their smartphones and started snaking with their close friends, they were much more likely to remain daily active users on Snapchat," concluded Andreou.
