JAKARTA - The 2023 Indian Arts Exhibition Art Fair will be an interesting event for connoisseurs and art collectors, as Tezos India will introduce a generative art on blockchain. Generative art is a type of digital art created with the help of algorithms and mathematics and then stored on blockchain platforms.

Blockchain technology allows artists to sell their works and allows collectors to have unique digital assets. This artwork is kept as NFT on blockchain, which ensures the ownership and authenticity of artwork is recorded and checked on a decentralized ledger.

This year, Tezos will showcase 3,200 NFT at the India Art Fair. The exhibition will open to the public starting February 9. There, Tezos will showcase computing art called "Computational Convergence". It will feature works from artists such as Karthik DondETi, Pixelkar, Aronya, and Kala. Visitors can use their phones to collect NFTs made at the Tezos Blockchain.

"We have created a simple collection system. The process will be facilitated through a QR code for a 3-step process. The Indian Tezos team will be on site to help people build blockchain wallets and collect algorithmically generated works," said the Head of Indian Tezos Arts & Culture, Varun Desai, told Business Today.

These works can be collected for free until they are sold, when these works will be available in the secondary market via fx(hash) and objkt.com, "added Desai.

In this exhibition, Tezos India will have four kiosks featuring 800 digital generative NFT art versions of each artist, with a total of 3,200 algorithmic works that visitors can see through their phones. In addition, a large infographic about "History of Computation Art" will also be part of the installation.

"Tezos India is also holding seminars, Computational Thinking, for artists who want to learn how to apply computational techniques to improve artistic practice and create more innovative works," Desai said.

The aim of this project is to introduce various types of computing art over the years and focus on FX (hash) on the Tezos blockchain. This is an opportunity that should not be missed for connoisseurs and art collectors to know more about the generative art on blockchain.
