Support Education, FLOKI Meme Coin Makes Schools In Ghana

JAKARTA The developer of the Floki Inu (FLOKI) meme coin carries out its commitments to education. FLOKI recently announced it had built a school in Ghana. This was announced by FLOKI via its Twitter post.

Ghana's school built by #Floki via @PencilsOfPromis is finally completed and its inauguration will take place today. Photos and videos will be coming soon! "From Floki, for the People," wrote FLOKI (@RealFlokiInu) in a Twitter post, January 30, 2023.

The new school building was inaugurated in Ghana by Floki, a meme coin project on the BNB Chain. The Floki team is working with the Pencils of Promise, a non-profit organization for education, to complete the construction of the project. This initiative comes after a similar project conducted in Nigeria in collaboration with the Tabitha Cumi Foundation, NGOs backed by the United Nations and the Japanese Embassy.

Each school built by Floki has six classroom blocks and one block specifically built for computer laboratories. Floki's goal is to improve crypto and metaverse education through this initiative and build advanced schools in underdeveloped countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, Laos, and Guatemala. The charity activity is one of the three pillars of this meme coin project.

Burn FLOKI

On January 28, Floki DAO approved a proposal asking for a burning of at least 4.97 trillion FLOKI tokens on cross-chain bridges, worth 129 million US dollars at the time this article was published. The proposal also asks for a reduction in network transaction tax to 0.3 percent.

The proposal received great support from community members, with 99.97 percent opting to burn tokens and only 0.03% voted against it. Floki announced that they would start reducing transaction taxes on February 9, 2023 and permanently burn 4.97 trillion tokens on the same date, reported by DailyCoin.
