IOH And Ericsson CONTROL The Integration Of Networks With MOCN Technology In Jabodetabek

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) has completed the integration of a national network that uses theMulti Operator Core Network (MOCN) technology to provide a wider reach, better indoor service quality, and faster internet experience for customers.

Supported by Ericsson, IOH has completed the network integration process in several areas including Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek), as one of the fastest network integration projects.

Now IOH has room coverage and penetration which has increased by 20 percent, data speeds that increased by 27 percent, and cross data which increased by 21 percent compared to before the integration process.

In this project, Ericsson uses the latest technology to provide a modern network for IOH which is fully ready for 5G with lower energy consumption and greater capacity.

Ericsson's latest radio device can support IOH with features that can increase capacity while increasing site efficiency and accelerating time-to-market (TTM) from various 4G and 5G services.

In addition, Ericsson's newest baseband device also allows IOH to have multi-standard capabilities, thus being able to run 2G, 4G, and 5G simultaneously using configurationally mixed modes.
