JAKARTA - Apple has just announced the Oceanic+ application, which is available for Apple Watch Ultra starting Tuesday, November 29.

Designed by Huish Outdoors in collaboration with Apple, the app serves as a diving computer forUSkin diving at depths of up to 40 meters.

Oceanic+ allows users to access a lot of relevant information for divers. Later with the Apple Watch Ultra, users can use the depth gauge and water temperature sensor to collect additional data.

The app will display a warning to divers if they descend or rise too quickly and will display the estimated time required to return to the surface.

In addition, divers can also regulate the direction of the compass while diving. There are also planners that take into account tides, temperatures, visibility, and currents before diving.

Other features of Oceanic+ include haptic feedback and clock display complications for flight ban times, surface times, rapid access to dive planners, diving settings, current altitudes, allowed maximum altitudes, and fast access buttons to return to the app.

Launching BGR, Tuesday, November 29, Oceanic+ is available on the App Store and requires Apple Watch Ultra to run the watchOS 9.1 or later paired with the iPhone 8 or later running the iOS 16.1 or later.

The basic package of this application is free and includes many general dive functions, including the latest depth, time, and dive logs.

But users can pay USD 9.99 equivalent to IDR 157 thousand per month or USD 79.99 equivalent to IDR 1.2 million per year, to gain access to decompression tracking, network loading, unlimited notebook capacity, and more.

After diving, data such as GPS entry and exit locations will be displayed in watches along with a summary of the user's diving profile.

The Oceanic+ companion app for the iPhone provides a more detailed post-saving summary, ups and downs over the next three days, and more.
