JAKARTA Google announced some minor updates that have been fully rolled out or are in launch, for Google Workspace and G suite customers.

The first update is Google is rolling out a widely requested feature for Sheets, which allows users to change the size of the side panel of the pivot table editor.

So, this feature will be useful when there are names of multiple columns or fields of pivot tables that are too long and you want to see all the text.

Next, Google will consider updating Gmail search activities to improve search results when you use an email service on the web, and will make your Gmail search results more relevant and contextual.

Earlier this year Google announced the ability to join Google Meet via Google Document, Spreadsheet, or Slide.

Now, if you join or present something in Meet from the file, you can directly share the presented file with the meeting participants through chats in the meeting.

With this update, you can give access to documents, spreadsheets, or presentations for all meeting participants. Or, you can also choose which meeting participants will receive the file.

So, you don't need other apps to share files that are being presented. It also allows everyone in meetings to collaborate while having conversations.

"All of these features are fully rolled out or are in the process of launching (the launch should be completed no more than 15 working days), and are available to all Google Workspace and G Suite subscribers," Google wrote in its announcement note on the Google blog Workspace website.
